How long?: It is hard to answer your question without knowing more about your conditions. How long have these symptoms been present? What kind of medications you have been taking (especially those introduced shortly before your problem started)? Consult your doctor if the problem has been present for more than a week or getting worse.

It does not particularly hurt just red and a bit itchy. Its at the corners of the mouth more on the skin than on the lips. Cold sore and allergex cream does not work.
