Skin allergies: Yes. Many persons develop allergic contact dermatitis to chemicals that they come in contact with such as nail polish, hair dye or the metal in jewelry or watches. The list is endless.

Skin Allergies: Many allergic reactions can show up on the skin.... This can be hives (urticaria) due to foods, medicines, detergents, or many other causes (water, heat, pressure...) it also can be a rash that occurs when your skin contacts a substance (watch band, jewelry, formaldehyde, etc). You can also have a skin reaction to a substance you touched (poison ivy). See an allergist to help you.
