PCOS and acne: First of all, depoprovera is probably the worst birth control for someone with pcos because it is very androgenic. See if they can switch you to one called mircette (ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel). The Progesterone in Mircette (ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel) is much more friendly and helps the acne and hirsutism (hair growth) that are so common with pcos. In general noerithindrone-like progesterones are very androgenic (testosterone-like) and bad for pcos.
