Concerning: It is not recommended to stay in bed for longer than 2 days for back pain. That being said, an intense activity resulting in severe pain is of concern. Tennis and boxing (high impact with a lot of twisting) can aggravate an underlying problem in the back. You may have an underlying disc injury. See you doctor for an exam and work up.

See doctor : Could be just muscle spasms, or could be a disc herniation or something more serious. Go get checked out by your doctor.
