The : The short answer to your question is no, there is really nothing over the counter that you can put on your toe to make this issue resolve permanently. The issue you had 5 years ago is resolved and should not be contributing at all to your current problems. Based on your history, i would recommend you see a podiatrist (foor specialist) because it seems that there may be a recurrent mechanical re-injury to cause your toe to re-inflame. Toe: Caught a ....I assume an infection but need more info. If it is infected, red, tender and swollen see your podiatrist.
