I had some stomach pain so dr did a fit occult blood test which was positive. both upper and lower endoscopy were normal. am i in the clear?

Repeat test.: Granted, there are reasons for falsely positive stool occult blood tests. But if you repeat this test, properly performed, and it's still positive, then you should have another look. How long ago were the endoscopy and colonoscopy? You may need a small bowel study as well as repeat endoscopy/colonoscopy.

Occult blood: Just because those two tests were negative, does not rule out the possibility that there still was a source of blood loss in the intestines, between the two. Whether to proceed with further testing depends on the severity of the blood loss and the urgency of the situation. You need to speak to your G.I. doctor to determine if further testing is necessary.
