Bald patch: Since this bald patch has a bruise and itches at times and is occasionally sore, I recommend that your physician or dermatologist examine you to check for fungal infection, chronic trauma, alopecia areata or any other skin or scalp pathology. Your personal physician may refer you to a dermatologist.
