Protect baby's skin: Sunscreen is recommended for babies 6 months and up - for the littlest babies look for ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium oxide which are physical sunblocks. Look for UVA and B protection. Try to keep baby off the beach between 10 AM and 2 PM. Wear sun protective clothing. Rash guards are popular and attractive. Sunburn in childhood increases the risk of skin cancer.
