A member asked:

I am 6 months pregnant, and i got a bad sunburn. can this hurt the baby in any way?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No.: Unless your sunburn is so severe that it affects your fluid and electrolyte levels (in which case you'd probably be in the hospital by now), it won't affect your baby. But please learn the lesson mr. Sun is trying to teach you - enjoy his warmth but respect his power. Apply a good sunscreen lotion every day.
