Can a nasal steroid thin the skin under my eyes?

No: However, long term steroid use can eventually cause cataracts, and can also cause secondary glaucoma in susceptible patients. These problems are more of an issue with steroid eye drop use or higher dose systemic steroid use.

No family history of glaucoma.Recent dilated eye exam normal.Can long term use of steroid nasal sprays(furoate) cause glaucoma?It causes open angle or closed angle glaucoma? doc didnt tell me that i have narrow angle. will it raise iop? am i at risk?
