I had right yag superior lpi with resultant light abberation but improves when i expose the iriditomy site. what is your opinion about horizontal lpi?

Dr. Sandra Lora Cremers answered

Specializes in Ophthalmology

LPI: Studies show horizontal LPI is less likely to give light aberrations as long as not along upper lid margin. If aberrations are debilitating which is very rare, corneal tattoo (quick procedure) usually resolves symptoms fully.
