Not skin. Cellular : You note that you are coughing up skin. It is soft and clear. It is unlikely to be skin. It may be cellular but not skin. You should see your doctor for a chest x ray. The next will be to culture the material that is coughed up because that is not normal. The doctor will ask your medications and allergies and may order more tests.
