No: The stuff is harmless. Even an active culture probably prseents little danger.

Washed hands: Relax! If you are washing your hand everything should be OK! I am an Endocrinologist in Michigan since 1976 and still working at age 72. Doing OK with the lab work in addition to patient care. If you are working in the Microbiology lab consider staying in the field for decades!
