Gastritis: this sounds like a viral gastritis and should respond to an antacid or if necessary a drug similar to Nexium or Prilosec . Stock a soft diet stay away from fries and fatty foods and take the antacid three times a day after meals or if you using the other drug Nexium 24 hour once in the evening
