Find the cause: Looks like you are on the right path by seeing a derm doctor to find out the cause. Why the cortisone cream has not worked on your spine area is unclear at this point until the cause can be establish. However you may apply the cream up to 3x a day on that area if the appointment is less than 2 weeks away. Be sure to leave some lesions untreated for at least 72 hours before you see your derm also.
