Need biopsy: ER doesn't do biopsy's. U'r appointment should be with a dermatologist or a primary doc who is comfortable with skin biopsies.

Yes: Skin malignancy rarely itches or is painful. It may be related to a spider or insect bite and will improve without intervention. Dermatitis will improve with topical steroids
