Maybe, maybe not: It is not uncommon for periods to "skip" as one approaches menopause, but can still fire out one last egg like a dying Roman candle which can result in an unintended pregnancy. Have your GYN MD run a FSH blood test to see how far you are along in this process, and don't forget to use some non hormonal form means of contraception if you are sexually active to avoid the "change of life" baby.
