Every few months i get a warming sensation in my left calf for 3-7 days. no pain no swelling. what could this be? how to know when dangerous?

Possible clot: A warm sensation in the calf is usually caused by inflammation. This could be a blood clot or inflammation of the veins (thrombophebitis). If so, it can become serious. An Ultrasound of the calf can help diagnose this. You should have a physician check it now and also the next time the sensation occurs. Good Luck.
