Nondiagnostic: This alone is nonspecific but does raise the possibility of some nerve disorder. If there are no other scattered patches of numbness or any other neurologic symptoms, observation only is acceptable at this time. However a neurologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you about this numb patch as true numbness can be seen in early multiple sclerosis.
