ONLY as prescribed: Never increase a Rx w/o the Dr's advice - especially not a psych medication and xanax is very risky since the end game (coming off) can be rough! More is not better anyway for anxiety. What is effective is the combo of xanax and good CBT therapy to learn skills. All research says so! Discuss this w/ Dr - ask for referrals. Best wishes!
