Yes: Low potassium can be serious if it's more than a bit below reference range. Overdoing a diuretic or having hyperaldosteronism (tumor, metabolic glitch) are both serious. "Low blood pressure" means nothing if you feel well and have good exercise tolerance. Blood pressure and potassium status vary independently, each with several other variables.
