Not a fever: A fever is technically anything over 100.4 degrees. Therefore, 99-99.5 is just a slight elevation in body temperature. It is normal for body temperature to fluctuate slightly during each portion of a woman's menstrual cycle. A slight elevation of your body temperature can be normal for where you are in your cycle.
