No tobacco: Quit smoking and start exercising. It is okay to take a carbonated beverage and some thing to eat in the morning. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. Practice safe sex.

Stop Smoking: Please stop smoking. Smoking increases your risk of several types of cancers. Smoking also relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter(LES), which is the muscle between the esophagus and stomach that is supposed to keep the stomach acid from going into esophagus. When stomach acid gets in esophagus, it can cause heartburn symptoms. Please see your doctor for help quitting smoking.

Feeling bad in the : I would consider low blood sugar as a possibility. If you haven't eaten for a while or have not eaten enough protein your blood sugar may be low and you feel better when it raises.
