This is not unusual: Just like shaving anywhere, the hair follicles can become irritated and inflamed afterwards and the red bumps are likely associated with hair growing back. This is common. Make sure you shave (carefully!) with a clean blade, rinse after each stroke, exfoliate gently afterward, and don't use fragrance powders/lotions. OTC cortisone cream can help with redness/bumps. Stay well:)
