A diopter change: of .25 (plus or minus) from your current correction isn't likely to be noticeable. Glasses & contact lenses can be expensive. Unless you're currently notices eye strain, headaches or difficulty focusing, you probably can delay getting new glasses. Hope this helps. Dr. Anne.
