My dr prescribed cipro, flagyl, & acidophilus for gut issues & i think the cipro might be making my generalized anxiety worse. can i stop taking it an?

Take it with food.: It is common for quinolone antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin, Moxifloxacin, Levofloxacin) to cause anxiety or panic like side effects when taken on an empty stomach or worse when taken with caffeine. Try taking it with a meal and see if it helps your symptoms and do net take it with coffee or other caffeinated drink.

Discuss w/ Dr: It's never a good idea to change or stop the prescribed meds w/out talking.
