Hi dr. ive been told i have a low lying placenta at 36weeks! what are the chances that it will move up and can it bleed if i have sex or orgasam?

Not really..: In 36 weeks - you still have 4 weeks to go. Mostly placenta will move as baby still grown and descending down to pelvis. But av course caution! If any bleeding go to emergency immediately. Occasionally placenta previa can happen . Sex and orgasm is normal to have during pregnancy . Only if bleeding, pain, contractions strong. Go to hospital. Enjoy your special time in life w your spouse.
