Don't worry about it: At age 19, a brace will have no long term effect on your kyphosis. There is not much that you can do that will significantly alter the curve of your spine, and if it is not causing symptoms, then don't worry about it. You might want to do some spine extension stretching exercises though just to keep limber. For example, the cobra pose in yoga, or lying on your back on an exercise ball.
