Any eye pain: could be an indication of a severe emergency. You need to have your eye pressure checked for glaucoma, which can be done in between such episodes. It would be very helpful to have it done with an episode, but if it is glaucoma, probably the pressure is up all the time and the pain is when it gets dangerously high. So don't delay, please.
