Ovulation: Ovulation occurs about 14 days before your next period. You can use your past history of menstrual cycles to guess when ovulation may occur. What are your goals? May be: If you do not wish to be pregnant, you should take plan B immediately. If you want to get pregnant, you may do a home pregnancy test 4-5 days after missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
