Probably not but: The hormones estrogens and progestins of oral contraceptive pills do remain relatively stable and effective over a wide range of temperatures. Unfortunately, without information about the temperature of the "hot apartment" and the number of hours the pills were kept at that high temperature it may not be possible to even offer you an educated guess.
