Mri: By looking at the relation of the caput to the spine and also by looking at the curvature of the cervical spine and the alignment of the vertebrae.

Must be advanced: People,lie flat when doing MRI, so neck's relaxed, as are shoulders. If this relaxation did not occur, the radiologist will see that curve in upper spine. For an 18 yo to have this, it suggests a chest deformity, like pes Davis. Discuss with your doc to get some exercises to improve it
