Currently treating hpv warts with aldara. one of them is beginning to ulcerate. what is the best way to prevent infection or sepsis?

Stop Rx, keep dry: Stop the imiquimod (Aldara®) until the ulcer heals. Probably best to also stop for the other warts as well. Keep the area clean and dry (soap and water washing, perhaps corn starch in underwear for a few days). Serious infection and sepsis are extremely rare in this setting, not a serious worry. Or check with your doctor's office for their advice.

Good Hygiene: Good Hygiene means carefully and frequently daily washing of the wart site and if necessary a mid day change in underwear. If signs of secondary infection such as redness. swelling or pus are noted, see a MD immediately.
