Is vigilance disorder benign? my gp wont acknowledge it being the cause for my drowsiness foggy feeling but instead sees mental problems as culprit.

It is rare & genetic: Since psych disorders are so common and it so rare, the gp may be right. But if your childhood hx and family hx incl these issues - it is a small possibility. Treatment may not differ - so it may not matter. Don't worry - if you trust the gp otherwise, trust them here too. If not, find a Dr you do. Best!
