Hard to say: Most are protected if they had recommended vaccine at 1 & 4--5 years of age. If none are vaccinated, it is likely too late to prevent it. Kids are often contagious a day before any symptoms, and being in the same room for an hour is enough exposure to pass it. Waiting period is 10-21 days before symptoms appear.
