Ginkgo: has nothing to do with it! This sounds like "old blood" and occasionally menstrual "remnants" can persist after a period! I assume you douche after your period??If NOT then suggest that..also suggest if it persists a conversation with your GYN is indicated! Hope this is helpful! DR Z
