Wax: Wax can make ears itchy and wax can be brown to orange or reddish in colour . Ear examination can confirm the diagnosis.

Itchy ears: Quit cleaning ears with Q-tips. Cerumen is a lubricant, keeps canal pH in acidic range, prevents dryness, combats infections. Irrigate ears in shower, towel dry and leave alone otherwise. If persists see ENT, my need microcleaning and ear drops, e.g. Vosol
