This is normal: Having bleeding 3 weeks after a Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy is common and is considered normal. After removal of the uterus with LAVH the top of the vagina is sutured. There may be spotting of various amounts for up to 6 weeks after surgery. If you feel bloated, nauseated, have a fever or have a watery discharge you should call your doctor for an examination.
