Not necessarily.: A sign that scabies (or the mites that cause it) have returned are "burrows" or tunnels in the skin, usually in the web spaces between the fingers. Water blisters are the skin's reaction to different agents / irritants, and could be a delayed reaction to the mites (or their feces - yuck!), or it could be from the medication used to eradicate the (previous) mites. NO: The answer requires details. Apparently you had a successful treatment for scabies. How long have you been free of symptoms? Were all your contacts treated at the same time? All cured? Did you identify the source of your scabies? Water blisters???? Where? How many? Severe itch again???
