Sharp pain: Are you being treated for menopause? Regarding your abdomen you should see your Primary doctor. She/he will take your medical history, examine you and then order laboratory data, and possibly xrays. Once the data is obtained your doctor will tell you and discuss what might require more examination, or more hopefully tell you all is OK!
