Doctor can evaluate: A doctor can examine to see what may be going on. Maybe there is a liver, gallstone, or gall bladder sludge problem. Sometimes gastric acid reflux or gastritis is still happening despite trying medication. The stomach emptying time may be taking too long. The appendix is in the right lower abdomen. Also, a gastroenterologist can help figure things out, try medications, or do an imaging study.
