What is the definition or description of: dorzolamide allergy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Untoward side effect: A dorzolamide allergy refers to an untoward reaction to the chemical dorzolamide and results generally in conjunctival and eyelid allergic manifestations such as erythema, edema, and follicular reactions. The periocular skin may start to flake as well. Less frequently would be systemically spreading reactions such as cutaneous eruptions. Avoidance and treatment of the rash with steroids helps.
