Alrex alllergy: Red, scaling, swollen and incresingly itchy eyelids are the best cluses to topical allergic reaction to any eyedrop. the culprit may be any component of the formula. if you fit this pattern see your prescribing doctor to try a different medication. Cool Compresses and oral antihiistamine such as loratidine may also be of help. While unpleasant, topical allergic responses are seldom serious.
