A member asked:

What is the definition or description of: fluoride overdose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too much: Fluoride is fantastic in helping improve oral health and reduce cavities when used in very small quantities. Too much, however, could kill you. That said, however, it is unlikely this is something you need to worry about as there really is no way under normal use circumstances with water and toothpaste that you would EVER COME CLOSE to consuming dangerous levels.
