Overstimulation: ventolin is a rescue inhaler used in asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions. It stimulates certain nerves in the body and can cause hypertension, excitability, agitation, and other symptoms of over-stimulation. using ventolin as prescribed and not too often should not cause any problems. If you are using this and have the symptoms described, contact your physician.
