Rosacea: While rosacea can occasionally be treated very effectively with medicines, persistent cases may respond better to laser or light therapies. Be sure to consult your local dermatologist or laser surgeon regarding your particular case. In my practice the use of the v-beam laser has proven helpful, although not curative. Good luck!

sun screen use: The most important trigger of rosacea is sun exposure. Avoid unprotected sun exposure, use cooler water to wash your face and also avoid too many chemicals ( retin a, (tretinoin) , .....) on the affected areas.

Sunburn with Rosacea: Since the redness on your face is do to a sunburn. I would recommend treating the sunburn with mild topical cortisone like Cloderm or Locoid (hydrocortisone butyrate) lotion which are both prescription. I would use either of these products, pea size amount, to the facial skin twice a day for 7-10 days.
