Leaking spinal fluid: Leaking spinal fluid is always a serious matter, regardless if it is coming from the ear or elsewhere. The fluid is thin a straw-colored and usually clear (unless there is an infection). The cause of the leak needs to be addressed immediately, because it is always dangerous.
