Not too cool.: These are injuries that occur when either the body or a specific body part is subjected to temperatures that are below the minimum the body requires for normal cellular activity. As the tissues are cooled to lower and lower temperatures, normal metabolic activity is impeded. The resulting conditions can lead to hypothermia, freezing of skin and tissue fluids and eventually death.
