Interstitial lung...: Disease or ild is a disease of the lungs. Most common causes occupational and environmental exposures, drug-induced, radiation-induced, and may be seen due to autoimmune conditions and other known and unknown causes. Symptoms vary but commonly include cough & shortness of breath. A pulmonologist should be consulted.

Interstitial Lung Dz: This is scar tissue that starts in the lungs. Many causes and you would need to have blood test and sometimes a lung biospy. One tries to identify reversible cause to prevent progression. Symptoms include progressive shortness of breath and dry cough. Once there is scar tissue you can not remove, only try to prevent from progression. Need to follow up with a lung doctor near you.
