What is weak?: Foot weakness can be described as either functional or structural in nature. Structural weakness is demonstrated by the inability of the anatomy of the foot structures to exhibit and maintain what is considered normal position. A functional weakness is demonstrated by the inability of the anatomical structures to exhibit and maintain normal physiological or biomechanical foot functions.
